Freising is located northeast of Munich and nearby Munich International Airport (MUC). Arrival from Munich International Airport by car or taxi will take approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, there is a bus connection from airport terminal 1 to ‘Freising’ station with a 10 minute’s walk to the Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus on the cathedral hill.

Munich Central Station provides connections to ‘Freising’ station by regional trains in about 25 minutes and by the suburban train S1 in 40 minutes.
